Relatives of passengers from a missing Malaysia Airlines plane have gathered in Malaysia about ten years after the disaster. There were calls for a new investigation into the disappearance of flight MH370.
The Boeing 777 disappeared from radar in March 2014 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. A major search did not reveal what happened to the aircraft and the 239 people on board.
About 500 relatives of victims and sympathizers gathered at a shopping center near Kuala Lumpur on Sunday for a memorial meeting. Some attendees came from China, where most of the missing passengers today came from.
"The last ten years have been a continuous emotional rollercoaster for me," said a 36-year-old lawyer whose mother was on the plane. She addressed the crowd and called on authorities to launch a new search. "MH370 is not history."
