Here is a line from my areas file:

    FileArea SF_INFO /home/bbs/u/dirs/OTHRNETS -a 42:1/100 -g C -d "SF Net Info Packs" 42:17/7 -def 42:1/101 42:1/102 42:1/103 42:1/104 42:1/105 42:12/1 42:61/0

As you can see, 42:17/1 is mentioned *nowhere*. 42:1/100 is the aka provided. Yet in the tic file that is created:

Created by HTick, written by Gabriel Plutzar
    File sfnet.zip
    Area SF_INFO
    Areadesc SF Net Info Packs
    Desc -- description missing --
    From 42:17/1 <---- WHY & HOW?
    To 42:1/103
Origin 42:1/100 <---- Should be this value in both!

Why is it picking a random Z42 aka from the config and not using the aka set up for that file area in the FileArea definition?

What is the "OurAKA" setting for the link 42:1/103 in your fidoconf?

I think you found it. ;) it was 17/1 instead of 1/100. I will see what happens the next time I send a file out!

    Thanks!

I was just about 99.9% sure about the reason. ;)

    Thanks!
