• alsa-utils and glibc-2.38

    Hey Alan!

For some strange reason this hasn't hit the Changelog yet but I note that in blfs r11.3-1261, on the page https://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/view/svn/multimedia/alsa-utils.html, there is a fix. I can confirm that it works.

This package provides its own implementation of strlcpy and strlcat functions. But they are provided by Glibc-2.38 now, so we need to remove the custom implementation to avoid a conflict with the Glibc header:

    echo '' > alsactl/init_sysdeps.c

    Life is good,
    Maurice

Excellent, I will be installing the alsa-* packages on my desktop tomorrow.
