OK, I have found the way to use the % stuff.

Now, how do I extract the file names from Files?

How do I send a message to result in my getting the message.

I thank you in advance for the help.

It would be great if someone would walk me through this.

Those are the commands to ALLFIX. such as%LIST.

OK, I have a text file or message and how to I take the file name in the message and have it appear on my computer?

I haven't the slightest idea how to get past that stage.That is getting from a message from the echo to downloading a file within.

I am sure it has to be easy because so many people are doing it.

If you do a file request to another node via your mailer the file (if found) will be in your inbound and you will have to import it into your filebase manually if you want it in your filebase.

One would think. However I still don't know how to get the files in "ALLFIX_FILE.

The ones in the text of the messages in ALLFIX_FILE are bothering me.

I get how I can get the one's on my Boss Node, I still

Don't have one, ;but I am set up to get a few areas.

So my question to you is how do I get the files that are listed in ALLFIX_FILE? They are from BBSes.

If you could that the time to lay that out for me, I would apprectate it.

Bought a new radio today, a Yaesu fat-818 new. 6 watts ;ou t.

I am going to check out openxp for file handling.

looking for the filename and which column where the description
begins.
