In Yemen, Iran-backed rebels have reached the west coast. They have even managed to capture an island off the coast from the government army.

All this is happening while Saudi Arabia looks on—and bears the brunt of the economic impact.

The crucial point is that the rebels are now posing a severe threat to the Saudis' remaining oil exports. The pipeline to the Red Sea is vulnerable, and oil tankers can no longer safely sail to the Far East.

In effect, the rebels now control the Red Sea passage to the Suez Canal and have the power to completely block shipping.

The question is how countries like Egypt and Saudi Arabia—as well as India and China—view this situation. Will they, as always, wait for action from the US and Europe, or do they realize that this problem stems from US actions?

The question now is: who is going to solve this?

The nitwits in Washington are incapable of offering a solution. The US is the cause of the problem—that is clear to everyone. But who, then, is going to fix it?

Everyone is affected. The famine expected in East Africa in 2027 will be exacerbated by this issue, adding to what is already shaping up to be a massive disaster.

The revenues of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, in particular, are taking a heavy hit. China, too, is demonstrably suffering huge losses. Normally, China would let things take their course, assuming the US would sort it out—meaning it costs China nothing and allows it to remain on good terms with everyone. But now?

And what about Europe? Should it get involved again? If you ask me, Europe ought to enter into dialogue with the surrounding countries—without the US.

No military intervention from Europe, but rather diplomacy. And a clear stance from Europe that establishes significant distance between itself and the US.
