• Winter storm 2025

    Hi everyone,

I survived the "storm" with an inch and a half (4 cm) of snow.

What's going to be bad tonight is the bitterly low overnight temps and that will bring a high risk of ice formation. So I'll be hiding in the house
until Tuesday when I hasve to venture out for labs and a doctor's
    appointment.

Winter is not my favorite time of year...

It was one day in February, the wind blew, it rained, sleeted and snowed on my shift.
I said to myself "Don't ever complain about hot weather again."

I even got to where if I heard someone in August talk about being hot that I'd tell them "Think February".
