Now, since I use 100% OS/2-native software, I could use "micronet_bbs"
for the echo filename. However, to keep backwards compatibility, I
use 8.3.
Take a look at converting all of your echo filenames to 8.3 in
SQUISH.CFG. That should cure the problem.
This gives me something to look at thankyou Sean. I do not use
squish, I use HPT but maybe similar restrictions? All though I have
used hpt on arca as a point and golded sees them all so not sure, I
will poke around and maybe pose the question in HUSKY echo as well.

ProBoard is the issue here; since it originally was DOS software, it apparently only supports 8.3 filenames for message bases. Both Squish
and HPT will support longer under operating systems that support long filenames.

So I can change the filenames in PB to anything I want correct? Keep echotag correct and store with shorter names?
