• Fossil?

From Doctor Wade@618:300/50 to Martin Kazmaier on Thu Oct 5 10:04:00 2023
I have been hammering the OS/2 fossil issue pretty hard this morning and I noticed that when a user posts a message, IceEdit flashes on the local side that it has lost carrier and then returns to the message menu. The user never loses connection. The drop files are in the correct node directory that the user is logged into. The EleBBS system log shows " ELE200 OS Shell : c:\ele\ice.cmd *N *M *H 1 65529 29 400"
The remote user was logged into c:\ele\node200 at the time. It appears to me that OS/2 is not sharing the port with IceEdit as it should. At least it is
not dropping carrier on the user now! Any thoughts?

The obvious thing to check would be the elconfig modem settings matching the virtual comport settings and fossil driver settings. Other than that, Andrew Leary would probably have a better answer.
