Yes, then they move somewhere else and wonder why it turns into a shithole. It's already happening in my area due to them bringing their leftist politics.

    I call them locusts.

This is the same people who votes against farmers. THen they complain
that they can't afford a tomatoe in the grocery store. Meanwhile
village people eat as many tomatoes as they want and give the ones
they don't want to the pigs.

They're also the ones telling people to buy meat at a grocery store becuase no animals are harmed there.

It is sad to see pizza delivery get the sharp part of the metal,
    though.

    It is.

I think the companies should provide the driver full coverage while driving on the clock.

Almost all delivery drivers don't have the right insurance to be doing deliveries if they aren't using a company car. Nearly every state requires you to have "livery insurance" which is something cab drivers and gig drivers (Uber, Lyft) have to use.

    Unfortunately, it's not cheap insurance.

I mean, in any case, it is going to reflect on the price of the pizza
and therefore the customer is going to pay it inddirectly, so the restaurant may be the entity purchasing the insurance for reduced
paperwork IMO - it sucks less for the restaurant to buy 5 insurances
in bulk than it sucks for each driver to buy their own insurance.

Unfortunately, in many states, it's the driver's liability if they are not driving a company-owned vehicle.

In my city (entirely democrat) they have a program where they are supposed to take property tax money and use it to fix up the poor black areas. instead, they are using that money to fix the rich white areas up even nicer. this is a fact, and it is illegal, and everyone knows about it. They continue to do so.

It's not a conspiracy theory, it is all there in black and white on paper. people bring it up, and it's ignored. alderman have even been caught taking bribes in the past.

I am also charged for snow removal in september.

oh but trump is so evil and that's why we all have to vote democrat!

well uber and lyft and doordash have some type of liability coverage for the drivers. it does not protect the car but protects other car. looks like this
only kicks in if your insurance refuses.

if you have a car that is financed, i'm pretty sure they don't want you driving that car for any of this stuff. I don't think they really track it well or have an ability to track it as of yet.

people that deliver for gig jobs should have commercial insurance, but they don't. i don't.

Apparently the popular ones have 'rideshare' insurance which provides 'extra' coverage that is required for doordash, uber, lyft. i'm not going to get a quote and get marked by them to find out the price.
