• Happy Transgender day

From Mike Powell@618:250/1 to JAS HUD on Sun Mar 31 09:28:00 2024
    Hey guys. Happy transgender day.

Usually my 4yr old god daughter likes Easter, coloring eggs, egg hunt, seeing e easter bunny... getting an easter basket with candy and toys.

I guess this year we will have to take her to story time with drag queens.
I wonder if they will be topless with breast implants. one can only hope.

Better pick up singles for tipping.

What kind of world are we fucking living in.

You know Trump is not as infalible as he was previously so you'd think the administration would try to do things that wouldn't alienate potential
voters. Trannys are already likely to vote Democrat, presumably, so why
would you decide to have Transgender Awareness Day (or whatever they are calling it) on Easter Sunday in an election year and piss off those who celebrate the religious holiday and might be less likely to automatically
    vote for you?

In 2016, Hillary pandered to her audience and didn't have enough of a
message for undecideds and independents. In 2020, Trump did the same
thing. It is like no one learns from recent mistakes and just keeps
    repeating them.

honestly i think this trans gender day is a message from the people pulling the strings. I think it's some kind of quazi fuck you satanist 'we run everything' joke on us.

I'm not sure trump can win again. it would take a lot, especialy with all the voter fraud. There are still people getting prosecuted for voter fraud, btw.

Trump has mellowed out and isn't such a troll. He is still a beast and since 2020 he has been making sure his enemies are not getting elected.

Myself, i'd prefer a non politician to run. I want someone who can not be bought. I think politicians have ruined society enough.

People shouldn't mess with little kid's minds like that. They are young and fra
ile. they need the right kind of guidance. Guiding them into being a trans per
on who will end up killing themself is not the right way to go about things. I >aw firsthand that not only were these early 20's teachers encouraging relations
ips, they were encouraging homosexual, etc relationships with the children. The
teachers would ask the kids about their relationships and manipulate. Middle s
hool kids are too young for that.

I think that is what some of them are counting on... the kids being too
young to understand all the consequences. There are a lot of female
teachers now getting busted for having physical relationships with kids. I think it is all related somehow -- confused adults creating confused kids.

It is still a little odd that the administration found it necessary to issue a proclamation about an "awareness day" that happens on the same date every year.

I worked in local government. Even in that limited scope, the left hand
barely knew what the right hand was doing.

Same here, but if one hand did something the hand in charge didn't like,
that hand would find itself in line for replacing.

The supposed favorite candidate of the Christian right didn't
attend church on Easter but instead "truthed" 77 times on his money
    laundering social network.

I have seen the "didn't attend" claims and don't doubt it but, these days, the "fact" that because someone is on social media means they are not in church
    is pretty far fetched. ;)

The thing is that Donald, unlike most Democrats, knows the "dog whistles"
that keep the Christian right on his side. Much like the "dog whistles"
that the Democrat politicians used to use, like "we'll protect your right to choose" (while not saying the quiet part -- "But we won't actually codify
it during the multiple chances we will have to do so"), that kept the left on their side.

Now their whistle are things like "Transgeder Awareness Day," I guess.

I'm watching for more pandering and false flag events. That Easter stunt Biden pulled at the command of his paymasters was insulting enough to many Americans to finally seal his and his ilk's fate though I am sure there will be a lot of vote thievery going on to try to get Biden 82 million votes this time around.

i get that they (our govt and whatever controls them) are all evil and they are cheaters. What i dont like is well meaning people somehow being fooled into still being on the side of what they call democrats.

I'm going to use Kurt as an example.(sorry!) I know he's a great guy and I'd love him if i knew him in real life. He will still talk about trump when something is brought up about biden or the democratic party. People like this are programmed. When something horrible happens with biden it's tight lipped time.

I think it's very complicated but it goes off of the coat tails of the old belief that democrats are for the people, especially poor;republicans are for the rich guys who of course are bad. Well, it turns out the men of the people democrats are rich and get richer in our system.

These are not democratic leaders. they are essentially santanists. I mean santanists in regards to the people who identify as such and believe that you should do whatever you want.

Kids matter, people matter and good values matter.
Bald men who put on wigs and fake tits and want to go to bathrooms with little girls should be eliminated. These are not gay people. I respect gay people and they can do whatever they want as long as it does not affect me; same as everyone else. These are degenerates that deserve no protection.

In the end of the day Democracy is not about electing representatives that defend your interests. Nowadays you pick a tribe based on what you feel good about and it turns into a tribalistic Us-vs-Them. People only realizes the politicians they are empowering with their votes are bad when things get so bad there is no turning back anyway.

This kinds of reminds me of a recent interview with Oscar Puente, a Spanish minister. During the interview he said he was using State's resources to track down journalists that critizised him.

"What use is that for the Spanish population," the interviewer said.

"Well, it is useful for the population, and it is certainly useful for me," answered Oscar Puente.

The sad fact of the matter is the people who voted for his party is not getting angry at all because their representative is such an asshole. This guy is still sitting on his office chair as if nothing had happened, instead of getting dragged out to a dark alley and beaten to a pulp with pipes.

That's how it is on both sides of the aisle in the US as many Americans refer to both Democrats and Republicans as "the Uniparty" Politics are all about personal enrichment these days, even going so far to encourage war to cover your political ass (but that's really nothing new), and they wonder why
    they're hated.

What concerns me even more are the people who (supposedly) voted these jokers into office.

As for Jas Hud/MRO/whoever's comment about being tight-lipped about
democratic screwups, I suppose he didn't hear me criticizing Newsom for
his unmasked trips to Napa valley when he'd ordered lockdowns in 2020.
Or any number of stupid egotistical moves that made him look like an
elitist and made me wonder who was advising him. Or complaining about
Cuomo shooting himself in the foot - two men who were first in line for
a democratic nomination. Newsom might still have a chance, but Cuomo's
    career is dead.

Or, in California, we have a PUC that's bought and paid for the
democrat government, where PG&E goes bankrupt, but not before
transferring billions out to their parent company. A company that later
does billions in stock buybacks, neglects their infrastructure, causes
multiple fires and a gas explosion that guts a town, is the cause of
dozens of deaths, then goes to the PUC for a rate increase to pay for
public service announcements about how they're making things safer -
and some infrastructure improvements. The PUC and Sacramento are
    silent.

I can certainly complain about the Republican party as well. Washington

The issue with some folks who do nothing but Trump bash is that they tend

requires a stretch to believe -- like "he told us to drink/inject bleach!"
    or "Russian collusion."

There are so many other things that can be proven that are pretty bad, like claiming that the President should have a higher level of immunity to prosecution than other citizens. At first that seemed like a goof his
lawyer made in court, but then Trump got on Truth and confirmed that is
    indeed what they believe.

A real Trump loyalist would never be swayed by such things, but more
sensible Republicans could very well be.

Of course, with the Democrats fielding Biden and (much worse!) Harris
again, sensible Republicans probably are not going to find much to vote for there, either.

    That must be me.

Spain is that country that used to be great and then decided to dig itself into a hole, and it is still in the process of making the hole to bury itself.

    For starters:

    * Lawmakers are openly making laws to benefit themselves and their friends. Are you three votes short from getting voted into Presidency in Congress? No problem! Enact a retroactive law that pardons some convicted politicians from another party so they don't hit jail and support your presidency instead.

    * We are actively killing our remaining industries and we love it! Touristic areas used to have a lot of activism against tourism. We are also the Number One proponents of erradicating traditional cars in favor of electric vehicles, and the way we intend to achieve our objective is by closing our factories and opening EV factories in North Africa instead. We have mineral deposits we won't exploit and some autonomies are just not licensing any farming activity anymore.

    * Social Healthcare is collapsed in a big chunk of the country. That is good news because the private sector gets to see all the patients social healthcare is pissing on, and if somebody complains because the price is too bad they can always tell them "Nobody is forcing you to come here, you could be using the free Universal healthcare instead."

    * Anything you want to do requires a pile of paperwork so nasty you will think you are back in the Soviet Union. The good news is half of the economy is underground already, so if you can't get bothered to fill the paperwork necessary to get meds for your horse you just hit on the friend of the cousin of the clerk at your regular pet food store for it.

    * Juridical security is non-existent. If you open a business here you'd better make a profit out of it very fast, because they WILL make a law and ruin your business model. Are you barely making it selling vitamin and mineral suplements? Too bad! Let's ban half of your inventory this evening, shall we? We can't let you sell cheap products that compete with the pharmas bribing the gov, you know.

That said, it is not that bad. We have soccer and Hispano-Breton horses. Most of the country is still safe, in the sense that it is unlikely they will break your legs to get your boots. It is actually very easy to lock yourself in a bubble with your gazpacho and your paella and pretend everything is right because, as long as you do nothing interesting with your life, you won't notice any issues... for the time being.

The problem here is where can you go where the politicians are not corrupt?
If you follow any news about Canada, just as an example, they seem to be having issues, too. Russia is certainly out. So is Brazil. We have a Spanish poster on some of the networks who makes it sound like Spain is also out.

    That must be me.

Oh for the longest time here where I lived and worked was overhearing >constantly that "Trump is an idiot". Even from seemingly intelligent people, >educated, well respected, etc etc... they just kept blabbing he's an idiot.

Either with no real logical explanation and certainly not beyond the usual TDS >nonsense.

Indeed. A lot of them keep trying to use that nonsense, while all the
while he and his camp continue to give them real things they could (and probably should) be worried about.

Sensible people are going to dismiss their nonsense just like a full-blood
MAGA would, but sensible people will pay attention to the real things.

Meanwhile, we elect a moron because of weed and the last name. Nothing else.

Yes, and I really like Canada so that is very sad.

Yep, I thought you were here but couldn't remember for sure. ;)

you three votes short from getting voted into Presidency in Congress? No proble
! Enact a retroactive law that pardons some convicted politicians from another >arty so they don't hit jail and support your presidency instead.

Over the years, but not recently, my state used to do things like that.
Lately, I would say I can see a day where our US Congress does these things.

    * We are actively killing our remaining industries and we love it! Touristic ar
as used to have a lot of activism against tourism. We are also the Number One p

EV factories in North Africa instead. We have mineral deposits we won't exploit
and some autonomies are just not licensing any farming activity anymore.

Some of our auto producers are starting to relocate to Mexico. There are
also some states, and some national politicians, who don't seem to realize
how their actions will affect the travel industry. I think they believe we will all be happy ordering from Amazon while only the rich can afford to travel.

    * Social Healthcare is collapsed in a big chunk of the country. That is good n

issing on, and if somebody complains because the price is too bad they can alw

For whatever reason, the US politicians seemed to have backed off on full social healthcare, for now.

That is good. I think we could probably do that here, too, until some politician decides to pass a law against it.

Thank you for the kind words.

You helped me out when I needed it the most in Micronet. I have and will always appreciate that! I am also of the mind that different political opinions doesn't make person bad.

a democratic nomination. Newsom might still have a chance, but Cuomo's
    career is dead.

When you have a politically connected aunt like Newsom does, there's always chances but with this $20-an-hour minimum wage hike and how his Panera Bread buddy was exempted, he may have just soiled himself in his bed.

Or, in California, we have a PUC that's bought and paid for the
democrat government, where PG&E goes bankrupt, but not before
transferring billions out to their parent company.

Oh yes, I have dealt with PG&E when I lived near Portland, Oregon. Their mishandling of the decomissioning of the former Rainier (OR) nuclear power plant, of which I was immediately upstream from, is something I still
    remember, 35+ years later.

I can certainly complain about the Republican party as well.
    Washington
DC has turned into a clown show and both parties are complicit. It's
got my family seriously planning a move overseas.

I'm in no shape to move but I agree, it's become the "Uniparty" and all
about enriching themselves. I consider myself to be conservative. I am
only "Republican" when it comes to voting as Tennessee will not let you vote
in a primary unless you are a registered Democrat or Republican.

Just because I may disagree with someone politically doesn't mean I hate
them. What I do hate is how the US is so politically polarized today.

Reminds me of "People Are People" by Depeche Mode (who are ultra-liberal themselves):

"So, we're different colors and we're different creeds
And different people have different needs
It's obvious you hate me, though, I've done nothing wrong
I've never even met you, so, what could I have done?"
