It's the simple transitive property.
If A is faster than B, and B is faster than C...
So show up, or shut up, duffer.

I show up and I'm currently the second fastest every at my circuit...

You did three laps on a practice day...
(Did you have a driving instructor in the car, BTW?)
...but you ducked another easy question:
Have you ever actually raced... ...anything?
:-)
It's 'transitive', baby!
It's only transitive if you compare it to a known quantity.
If I know that A < B and that B < C, then I know that A < C.
So how does your lap time actually compare to a comparable?
It's interesting how you duck these questions, isn't it?
For reference, the 1972 Bryar Trans Am Under 2.5 pole was 1:16.0,

...pardon me, did you practice your three laps on the current layout, or
the orginal?
The road course at Mission Raceway has been in operation since 1992
(IIRC) and in its current layout, since 2008.
In 2008, the FF lap record was set by Rick Payne (the future 2015
Runoffs Champion in FF) in a Swift at 1:13.248
2009 David McKay (Lola T644) lowered it to 1:12.783
2011 Olov Brandfors (Crossle 40/45F): 1:12.255
2012 Alan McColl (1977 Tiga): 1:11.880
2015 Alan lowers it to 1:11.026
2016 Doug Floer (Van Diemen RF94): 1:10.863
On May 6, 2018 Doug lowers it to 1:10.583; where it currently stands.
My best was on July 14, 2018 @ 1:10.833
And just to let you know, it's not like Rick hasn't been back and racing
in better equipment than the original Swift (which is still fairly competitive 37 years after it was introduce anyway). He's been at
Mission in his much more modern Piper, and his times against Alan McColl show they are pretty much at the same level of talent.
Facts, Pipsqueak.
Interesting that you didn't tell us

It's the simple transitive property.

I do show up.

So a circuit that closed more than 30 years ago.
What was the D Production lap record?
And since it was just a club meeting, does it even matter?
Fact:
I'm faster at our track than a driver who actually won the SCCA >>>>>>>> Runoffs in the same class.
That's just the fact, Pipsqueak.
And it galls you, doesn't it?
:-)
"Transitive", my ass. Faster than an aged-out Runoffs Champion.
So he won in 2015 and when exactly did he "age out"?
He and I are almost exactly the same age, BTW. I can't remember if >>>>>> he's a year older or a year younger.
"Galls" me? Reeling you in after you take the bait makes me LMAO. >>>>>>> "Wace dwiber."
Yup. It quite obviously galls you.
Interesting that you didn't tell us what the lap record for D
Production at Bryar was...
...or whether it was just a club meeting.
So, what was the lap record at Bryar for D Production?
I have no idea what was the DP lap record in the original Bryar
track configuration, nor was anyone shooting for one in a Thursday
'arrive and drive' practice.
Oh... ....so it was just practice. Got it.
Did you ever actually race... ...anything?
What did I need to prove, with that second lap of three?
You did three laps on a practice day...
(Did you have a driving instructor in the car, BTW?)
...but you ducked another easy question:
Have you ever actually raced... ...anything?
:-)
It's 'transitive', baby!
It's only transitive if you compare it to a known quantity.
If I know that A < B and that B < C, then I know that A < C.
So how does your lap time actually compare to a comparable?
It's interesting how you duck these questions, isn't it?
For reference, the 1972 Bryar Trans Am Under 2.5 pole was 1:16.0,
and the fast race lap was 1:17.5, while the IMSA Three-Hour Under
pole was 1:14.3, both on the original Bryar track configuration.
Transitive and gall-worthy, huh!
Not really.
Yeah, right. Keep huffing.
The former Bryar operates as a modified 1.6 mile road racing course
incorporating more of the NHMS oval.
Maybe you can snag a competitive lap time. Maybe not. I am told the
current Formula-F track record is 1:05-ish.
Did you rac...
...pardon me, did you practice your three laps on the current layout,
or the orginal?
Asked and answered, skippy. Reading is fundamental. Catch up.
The road course at Mission Raceway has been in operation since 1992
(IIRC) and in its current layout, since 2008.
In 2008, the FF lap record was set by Rick Payne (the future 2015
Runoffs Champion in FF) in a Swift at 1:13.248
2009 David McKay (Lola T644) lowered it to 1:12.783
2011 Olov Brandfors (Crossle 40/45F): 1:12.255
2012 Alan McColl (1977 Tiga): 1:11.880
2015 Alan lowers it to 1:11.026
2016 Doug Floer (Van Diemen RF94): 1:10.863
On May 6, 2018 Doug lowers it to 1:10.583; where it currently stands.

Who but you gives a flying 'fact' fuck? Talk to the hand, huffer.
Repeating, my best of three, nothing to prove, 'arrive and drive' laps,
on the original Bryar circuit was fun, and memorable.
If you don't like the idea, or the answers, who gives a flying fuck?
Not me, certainly, and I'll venture not many. Buh-bye, insufferable oaf.

Well this track is more suited for demolition derby. The problem, as
so often, are the idiotic chicanes. They are so tight that there is
no way two F1 cars ca safely be next to each other.

Ok, so they aren't called officially chicanes. But when you put two
or more tight turns close together so that two cars can't be side by
side w/o running or behind over the curbs it's a bad design.
...but both drivers have to play nice...
...and that is becoming increasingly rare.

They're not "tight turns," they're high speed sweepers.-a "A chicane is a serpentine curve in a road, added by design rather than dictated by geography. Chicanes add extra turns and are used both in motor racing
and on roads and streets to slow traffic for safety."-a (Wikipedia)-a The curves in question slow the cars not at all (or very little); calling
them chicanes is an abuse of the language.
