Yeah, is it bigger than Valour v Pacific? I don't think I can answer that.RMIs this match bigger than the derby between Valour and Pacific in the CPL?
Initial thought is Liverpud wins easily vs the Old-timers, but then the Oldtimers have this knack of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.
Looking only at your posted results, with no other reference, it looks like Real has been the better team for the past 7-8 years.
Iam gonna go with the logic of the past 8 years and bet the house on Madrid.

What I do know is that when I think of European football and teams who've been in European finals, the kind of big match atmosphere that only a European final between two big teams can create, these two teams pretty much epitomise that.
Agree with your analysis, in terms of talent and tactics Liverpool should have enough to win but Real Madrid keep pulling out these almost miracle level comebacks and you have to wonder whether that might give Real a self belief that gets them over the line.
I'm not usually one to cheer for the big sides but hey - it's Liverpool v Real Madrid in the European Cup final - it doesn't get much better than this?

no surprises in the lineups. Yeah this probably ends in a tight low scoring match as so often happens in the big games. Alaba coming back actually means Real has a legit chance to win.

Real did nothing for 45 minutes, yet actually had the ball in the
up.
Maybe that mess up by Liverpood at the end wakes them up for the 2nd half. >> Fixed match? Seemed like an awfully dicey VAR call for the 0-1.
And I redouble this concern on the goal they actually GAVE for the 0-1.
By the "obstructing ability to play the ball by line of vision", the
goal they gave for the 0-1 was probably more offside than the one they
took away!
Should be a clear 0-2 already. Liverpool's back defense is shambolic.

Liverpool not doing much either. 0-0 and penals bet coming up.

The keeper was ahead of the ball, so only one defender back, thus
offside. The actual goal they gave may have been offside, but i assume

They've done enough that Courtois is the clear MOM.

I only recall him having to make a good save off of Mane, the rest were simple saves. Having said that, i dont know who you give the MOM.They've done enough that Courtois is the clear MOM.

Binder Dundat a |-mis l'id|-e suivante :At the very least, it was more offside than the one the VAR reversed. (You do not have to play the ball to commit an infraction. Obstruction of play in an offside position, even by blocking visual, is also an offside infraction.)
The actual goal they gave may have been offsideit was.

This is harsh on Liverpool as they were way better, but I won't
complain, 5th CL for LM10.
That's not the stink -- many people felt an effort to tackle the ball in the box by Liverpool was a deliberate play (which negates offside) vs. a deflection (which is not and what the VAR called).
But winning the Milk Cup and, especially, the FA cup isn|t too shabby.

And then the championship-winning goal could've been called back far
more easily.
How ANYONE sanely could've thought Quadruple for this Liverpool side
with that backline defending is beyond any sense of my comprehension.
0-1 was quite flattering. 0-4 would've been more accurate!

Exactly. The ball went from Benzema, touched by a few Liverpool players then back to Benzema. No other Madrid player even touched the ball. Even if it was a "deflection", it was a "deflection" off a pass from Benzema to himself. How can you be offside passing to yourself?
The VAR got this wrong for sure.
Just said on BT Sport that UEFA have released a statement saying that the trouble before the game was caused by Liverpool fans who'd been sold fake tickets getting stuck at turnstiles.

But from what I did see, Liverpool just did not do enough to win it, then again neither did Real, what did they have, one shot all game?
