    3 points for correct result.
    1 point for correct number of goals by home team
    1 point for correct number of goals by away team
    1 point for correct goal differential

    ??? I don't understand. Those are already accounted for.


    Suppose you predict Arsenal - Palace as 3-2, and it is actually 4-3.

    You would get 3 points for outcome, 1 for GD , for 4 total
    Someone who predicted 3-1 would also get 4 points. as would someone who predicted 4-2.
    Someone who predicted 3-3 would get 1 point
    A completely correct 3-2 would get 6 points.

    It is not a perfect system because if the score were 4-3, then
    predictions of 5-4 or 3-2 could be said to be better than 1-0 or 2-1.
