On the sixth day of Christmas... they gave to me some really boring looking matches, not a looker in the bunch. But, sometimes it is these kinda games that produce the most interesting games.

Well, what do you know, Man U won yesterday. I can not help but feel the WWEpl is actually run by some evil organization that is trying to control the world by slowly putting people into a sleep like trance. I had to
get out of that trance before it took hold and went off to do something exciting. Namely counting the combined footsteps my dog and I took during our walk. You see, there are lots of fun things to do in lockdown.
Why do I get the feeling that Ontario is not only, the only place in Canada doing serious lockdown, but the only place in the world. Everywhere else, people are shopping and dining and skiing and visiting and going
to bars and pubs and having a gay ole time, while we can not have a single person over to our homes, nay, over to our backyards to sit outside, let alone go to a bar or a diner or a furniture store.

We cannot have a single person over to our homes, nor go to a bar or a restaurant or a furniture store - but we are allowed to go skiing.
Must be a cultural thing.

I plan to go skiing next week, from what i understand, it is singles or families on chairlifts and only drinking/eating outside and having to wear masks everywhere-I think they say bring 5 masks?. As long is it is not too busy, i am not worried, but yeah if the hill is full of people, Ill prolly go back to my cottage and x country skil around the lake.

libraries or theatres. Ski Hills still surprisingly open, but there is
no way I would go there -crowds, irresponsible people, gondolas, lift
lines.
Schools are off on an extended break (back on the 11th I think).
Over 1000 dead in Alberta now - 500 of them in the last 5 weeks. We
handled the first wave fairly well, with a complete lockdown, and summer
was not too bad in spite of opening up several weeks too early, but the return to school and opening up of too many non-essential things in Sept
had all the consequences the experts predicted, and our idiot provincial government dragged their feet far too long before introducing stricter measures.
