I wouldn't rule out a scenario in which the entire season is cancelled, a lot of the smaller clubs go under, and the big guys take advantage of this to reorganize the whole system around a closed league, North American style. Sad

Or, in times of need, dangle a tasty financial carrot in front of the smaller clubs so that they forfeit their voting rights.
